The OC is a show based in Orange County, California in the 2000’s. It showcases the life of a troubled kid, Ryan Atwood, and how he gets to spend the next years at the Cohen’s house. The show consists of many teenage kids in high school who love to party and have fun at the beach!

Ryan Atwood was born on March 19 1988 (16 years old). He was born in Chino, California and lived a very tough life. He grew up with not much money and alcoholic parents, so things were very rough growing up. During the beginning of the show, he meets the Cohen’s while almost being put in jail, and since his mom can no longer take care of him, he’s later taken in by the Cohen’s. He then meet Marissa Cooper, front door neighbour and soon lover, and Seth Cohen, who’s now his brother and best friend.

Seth Cohen was born on July 14 1988 (16 years old). He was born in Berkeley, California then later moved to Orange County. He’s a very anti-social guy and never had many friends growing up. His family took in Ryan and they instantly (slightly forced) became friends. His shyness throughout the seasons disappear since he starts to branch out more, which leads him to finally dating the girl of his dreams, Summer Roberts (THE BEST).

Marissa Cooper was born on May 4 1988 (16 years old). She was born in Orange County and lived there her entire life. She comes from a very rich family which benefits her with a great fashion style and new handbags every week from expensive brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc. Although she’s so privileged and popular in school, she still suffers a lot mentally and physically throughout the show, meaning she’s still a complex character. Luckily she has her best friend, Summer Roberts, and finds her true love, Ryan Atwood.
Summer Roberts was born on August 13 1988 (16 years old). She was born in Orange County and lived there her entire life with her dad. She is known to be Harbor’s (high school) best icon! She is a feisty yet very cute and quirky girl, which is why many people love her. She does have a good character development during the show. Although she might’ve changed quite a bit, she is still an icon! She definitely has proven herself a lot and learned to follow her heart, and her heart belonged to Seth.
